Kristin Hammer

Kristin trained as a midwife in Munich and worked in this profession for several years in Germany and Switzerland before studying History, German Literature and International Law at the University of Zurich, where she graduated with a licentiate. She holds a Master of Acvanced Studies in Applied Ethics from the University of Zurich and wrote her thesis on ethical challenges in prenatal care.
Kristin has been a lecturer and module leader on the bachelor's degree programme in Midwifery at the ZHAW in Winterthur since 2013. One focus of her work there is the design of teaching programmes that highlight the points of contact and links between social and medical topics in connection with parenthood.
