Short Bio

Ekaterina Uetova is a PhD student at the Technological University Dublin, Ireland. Her PhD focuses on creating a conversational agent for online health-related peer support groups, aiming to help members identify each other's indirect support requests and provide empathetic support. She studied linguistics at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia, with research projects on the picture naming task in Russian and Nenets languages based on data from elementary school students and the acquisition of Russian as a foreign language. During her stay at the Institute between 1st September and 30th November 2024, she will be working on optimising the GRACE project.
