Short Bio
I completed my bachelor's degree on Philosophy as well as Media and Visual Arts (double major) from Koç University, İstanbul with Summa Cumme Laude honors. I hold a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Koç University with a specialization in AI ethics and AI's impact on vulnerable populations. My previous research examined anthropocentric bias in AI and its ethical implications, particularly through the lens of care ethics. I joined the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine (IBME) at the University of Zurich as a PhD candidate to work on the project "Ethics of Voice Assistants in Dementia Care" which explores how voice-based interventions can support individuals with early dementia while addressing critical ethical considerations such as autonomy, privacy, and trust.
