13th Annual Meeting of the Global Network of WHO Collaborating Centres for Bioethics

This hybrid meeting was organised by IBME and the Health Ethics & Governance Unit at the World Health Organisation. Seventeen members of the network participated in person in Zurich and nine members joined online. In the meeting the outgoing chair of the network, Prof Florencia Luna, reported on the last activities of the group, Katherine Littler presented the key priorities of the WHO's working plan for 2022 and 2023, and participants suggested ideas and presented their centres' work on COVID-19, public health ethics, clinical ethics, and research ethics. Moreover, PhD candidates Tania Manríquez Roa, Julian März and Paola Buedo presented their ongoing projects on public health ethics. Prof Nikola Biller-Andorno was elected by consensus as new chair of the Global Network of WHO Collaborating Centers of Bioethics.
